Polycom MedLink™ Cart

Polycom's MedLink mobile workstation unit allows a remote specialist to meet face-to-face with patients, physicians, nurse practitioners, and physicians’ assistants. Together, they can interview patients, conduct physical examinations, review records and tests, and prescribe treatments all in a standards-based environment. MedLink delivers expertise to the patient rather than transporting the patient to the specialist.

MedLink is a full featured, open architectured, easy-to-use, multi-purpose conferencing unit designed for use in clinical situations. Medical professionals conduct examinations in the clinic with a variety of medical devices and educate with interactive medical presentations. MedLink provides the industry’s highest quality video and audio in an ergonomic, mobile cart that will meet the demanding standards of today’s integrated delivery systems.

Deployment ranges from simple ISDN through T-1/E-1 or can be attached to the local area network to take advantage of existing topologies, up to and including ATM and LAN.
