VSGi Awarded Strategic Source Contract by FAA

MCLEAN, VA and WASHINGTON, DC – Tuesday, November 17, 2009 – Visual Systems Group, Inc., in partnership with SDV Solutions, Inc., was recently awarded a SAVES contract worth up to $15 million to provide video conferencing systems to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

The contract supports the FAA’s IT Cost Control Program, which aims to reduce expenses by using video conferencing as an alternative to travel. Under the contract, VSGi and SDV Solutions will deliver solutions from Polycom, Tandberg and Smart Technologies, including installation and maintenance support services. Leveraging technology from these manufacturers, the contract team will deliver services designed to standardize the FAA’s technology platform and ensure equipment compatibility.
